== Diamond Inflation == Add a rule '''Diamond Inflation''' that contains the wording of the rest of this section. At the beginning of Phase number 42 a Diamond Inflation Period begins. During a Diamond Inflation Period, at the beginning of a new Phase the value of each card (individual cards, not card species), that is currently in existence (including but not limited to the cards in player's inventories, hands, decks, and battle piles) and has Diamond as its suit or as one of its suits, is decreased by one (1), if a card species exists which's name equals the new value (The name "Zero" is to be interpreted as the value 0. The names "-1 of Blight", "1 of Vitality", "2 of Blight", and "-2 of Vitality" are not to be interpreted as equal to the values -1, 1, 2, or -2.) The card is then considered to be of that species. If the value of a card in existence (as detailed above), that has Diamond as its suit or as one of its suits, is not decreased by the previously described method, its value is set to -1 and its name turned to -1. The card is then considered to be of that species. If the value of a card in existence (as detailed above), that has Diamond as its suit or as one of its suits, is not altered by the two previously described methods, it is destroyed. During a Diamond Inflation Period every random card created, additionally to other stated chances, has a 50% chance of having the Diamonds Marking modifier applied. == Start and End scenarios == If section Diamond Inflation of this page has been enacted, enact the rest of this section., otherwise don't. Add a new exploration scenario with the description from the following paragraph: You digged deep below the Gilded Hall and found a new diamond mine: roll a 1d2 - if you roll a 1: The mine is bigger than everything anyone has seen before, therefor a Diamond Inflation Period begins, if none is going on currently. If you roll a 1 and a Diamond Inflation Period is currently ongoing, every card in existence with Diamond suit (either as its sole suit or one of multiple suits) is immediately destroyed and the Diamond Inflation Period ends. Add a new exploration scenario with the description from the following paragraph: The diamond traders guild is upset about the marked price of diamonds, buys and closes several diamond mines. If it is currently a Diamond Inflation Period, it ends. == Gold Standard == If the section Diamon Inflation of this page has been enacted, enact the rest of this section, otherwise don't. Add a purchaseable item to the table in '''The Croupier''': "Gold Standard Certificate" which can be bought for 15 Vb or 1 Chip. Add a subrule '''Gold Standard Certificate''' to rule '''Items''' with the content from the following paragraph: Gold Standard Certificates are items. A player can use a Gold Standard Certificate on one card in their or an other player's inventory applying the "Gold Standard Secured" modifier to that card. This does not take effect on duplicates of that card in player's hands, decks, or on battle piles. Add a row to the table in '''Modifiers''' with Name "Gold Standard Secured" and Effect(s): This card is not effected by rule '''Diamond Inflation'''.
