Clearly the best idea so far and all other ideas are inferior (objectively). Listed first because you can just read this idea and skip all of the rest, I'm saving you the trouble. You're welcome.

== Rounds with different time frames ==
One idea that i think would be super interesting to try out is either a nomic that is meant to progress extremely quickly or one that lasts only hours.
=== Long Round ===

* Plant theme? Players get trees which grow 1 centimeter a week?
* Can call it Round Infinity or something quirky like that.
* Definitely intended to run in the background of every other round.
=== Short Round ===

* Choose a range of hours between which everyone can participate
* "10 hour round 10" is thematic but maybe impractical: still want it to be short enough that it can be played in one sitting
* Mechanical ideas in case this is a hard sell:
** Definitely want win condition baked into the initial ruleset because we won't have time to create one and work towards it
*** Furthermore, this should be a "most points at the end" condition so that the game can have a specified length
** Game can work on an hourly clock. i.e. proposals written in hour ''n'' are voted on in hour ''n''+1
** Allow players to pick teams? Having people discuss the ruleset with small groups may lead to better strategizing and more importantly better scamming
** Release the ruleset and send the call for teams long before the round actually starts so that people have time to make plans
