The core gameplay of Round 10 is using Secret Actions to bid for cards at the auction and form hands in the weekly "poker game". Round 10 has many more card suits and ranks than a standard game of poker, which means there are some unusual multipliers to get a higher scoring hand.

In an effort to make sure that idle accumulation of chips and huge blanket bets is not an optimal strategy (as its an incentive to not participate), the income players gain decreases as their wealth goes up.
