The Nomic Amalgam combines rules or concept from all previous cycles.
The following rules and concepts are associated with the following rounds:
- Cycle 1: Vassals
- Cycle 2: Ships
- Cycle 3: Prestige
- Cycle 9: Naming criteria
Vassals[edit | edit source]
Each player has an allegiance, which can be Free or any other player.
A player with at least one prestige can, by saying that they so in #game-actions, attempt to swear themselves to another player. Upon the second player's assent, the first player’s allegiance is set to the second player.
Vassals are players with their allegiance set to a player. Lords are players who have at least one other player whose allegiance is set to them.
Either player may unilaterally annul the allegiance by saying they do so in #game-actions.
Ships[edit | edit source]
Ships are items ownable by players. Each ship has a pilot, who is a player. If the pilot of a ship is ever unclear or unset, it becomes the ship's owner.
Ships have titles, which can be set at any time by its owner to a string of text, with the following exceptions:
- titles that, at the time they were assigned, impersonated the name of one or more specific players
- titles violating Discord's TOS or the rules of the Infinite Nomic Discord server
- titles longer than 140 characters or shorter than 1
- titles made illegal by other rules of this nomic
- Jeffery
If two or more Ships share a name, the one that has held that name for longer keeps it.
Ships have the following integer properties: Durability (D), Speed (S), Power (P).
Prestige[edit | edit source]
Players have an integer property called Prestige. A player's prestige is the sum of the prestige values contributed by each of the following criteria:
- Having submitted a proposal that was adopted within the previous two phases: 1 prestige
- Being a vassal or a lord: 1 prestige
