Part 1 - Research for Rituals

In the "Ritual Components" section, amend:

Unlike other Ritual Components, ⚡️ cannot be traded.

to read:

Unlike other Ritual Components, ⚡ and 👁️ cannot be traded.

Add the following as a new rule entitled "Reprisals":.

A Reprisal is the Obelisk's response to a Ritual. Each Reprisal costs the Obelisk an amount of 🩸.

When rules state that a Reprisal is triggered, a Reprisal is randomly selected from the table below. If the Obelisk can afford the cost of the selected Reprisal, its effects are applied and the Obelisk loses an amount of 🩸 equal to its cost.

The following are Reprisals with their associated cost and effect.

Ire of the Birds 1🩸 A Grebe is summoned to aid the Obelisk.

Ire of the Snow 1 🩸 The current season is set to Winter.

Ire of the Stone 3 🩸 The Obelisk loses 1 Cut.

Ire of the Mind 3 🩸 Each player gains 1 👁

Part 2 - Later proposal - Tainted Ritual Components

Add the following as a new section entitled "Reflection" within the "Tasks" rule:

As a Task a player can seclude themselves to reflect for a while. The player loses all 👁️ they have.

Add the following as a new section entitled "Tainted Ritual Components" within the "Items" rule:

Ritual Components are either Benign or Tainted. Unless otherwise specified they are Benign.

Tainted Ritual Components have a Benign counterpart and can be contributed to Gatherings in place of their Benign counterpart.

If a Player has any 👁️, any Ritual Components they gain from Tasks immediately transform into their Tainted counterparts, if one exists.

The following are Tainted Ritual Components, with their benign counterparts listed in brackets.

  • 🍂 Withered Herb (🌿)
  • 🦴 Fossil ??? Idk (💎)
  • 🧪 Rancid Reagent (⚗️)

Todo - tained components should make rituals more likely to fail
