Letters
Each phase players may randomly select 8 letters by rolling 8d26 in #shuffling. If the selected letters contain less than 3 or more than 4 vowels, a player can reselect a different set of 8 letters, and do this until there are 3 or 4 vowels. Y is considered a vowel.
After selecting 8 letters, a player may select 5 unique words by posting to #shuffling that can each be formed by a subset of those letters, and the words selected are then granted to that player.
Rulecrafting
Boggles are a kind of rule that have lower precedence than standard rules. Boggles otherwise have a higher precedence the older it is.
Once a phase, a player may spend words in their possession to create a boggle containing the words spent by posting the proposed boggle to #boggles. A boggle is adopted if at least 3 players agree that it isn't nonsense by reacting :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:. A boggle must be adopted in the phase it was posted, or the subsequent phase. Otherwise, the boggle is failed, and the spent words are returned.
Unless otherwise specified, punctuation inserted into boggles are free to insert, except for spaces. Spaces are automatically inserted between words spent, and are free, but cannot be inserted manually. Hypens are not allowed unless otherwise specified.
Standard rules cannot be changed by the effect of boggles.
Winning
Once a player has won, they are encourage to craft boggles that end the cycle and otherwise secure their win. Other players are encourage to craft boggles that prevent the cycle from ending before they've won, and to craft boggles that take away already earned wins.
