This is based upon the idea that scams can be compartmentalized, similar to User:4st/Shadomic. Progression goes from amending/creating rules in a traditional nomic (Colorless and Red), to finding asset-related scams/rule breaks (Orange and Yellow), which may lead to paradoxes/indeterminacy (Green and Blue). Finally, we move thru voting/proposal scams and/or bribery (Indigo and Violet).

Colors

There are 9 colors, in order from lowest to highest, which are: Colorless, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, and Rainbow. For each color, there is a ruleset. The initial ruleset for each color contains every rule unless otherwise specified. Players are initially Colorless. Rules to the contrary notwithstanding, rules in the Rainbow ruleset take precedence over every other ruleset.

Unless otherwise specified, when a player authors a proposal, e authors a proposal of their color.

Non-rainbow and colored proposals/rules can only affect rules and gamestate of the same color or non-rule gamestate specified by Rainbow rules. Players can vote and propose any color of rule.

Persons, if they were once players, upon rejoining have the color they had previously.

Changing Color

Players can only change color to the next highest color. Players can only change color once a phase.

Colorless Progression

This rule is Colorless. A person's color is changed to Red when a non-rainbow, non-colorless proposal they've authored is adopted.

Red Progression

This rule is Red. A person's color is changed to Orange when a Rainbow proposal they've authored is adopted.

Orange Progression

This rule is Orange. A person's color is changed to Yellow when they own a negative or non-real quantity (eg -1, infinity, NaN, Navy Blue, pi) of a game asset. [game assets to be created during cycle play, hopefully at least by Colorless or Red players]

Yellow Progression

This rule is Yellow. A person's color is changed to Yellow when they own negative or non-real quantities of two different game assets.

Judging Amendment

A judge's ruling broadly has the power to amend gamestate, and should only do so to the extent of resolving paradoxical or otherwise indeterminate statements.

Green Progression

This rule is Green. A person's color is changed to Blue when a judgement they've authored is found to be paradoxical or indeterminate, and the judge amends gamestate to resolve it.

Blue Progression

This rule is Blue. A person's color is changed to Indigo when a judgement they've authored is found to be paradoxical or indeterminate, and the judge amends gamestate to resolve it.

Indigo Progression

[there is no indigo progression rule: earning violet is by proposal only/vote hacking/bribery, at least, initially.]

Violet Progression

[there is no indigo progression rule: earning rainbow is by proposal only/vote hacking/bribery, at least, initially.]

Winning

At the end of 12 weeks, all rainbow persons are winners, then the cycle ends.
