Round 1
November 2018 - March 2019
Gamestate
Initial Ruleset
The Inital Ruleset was as follows:
- Players take turns adding a proposal to the game. A proposal can be changing an existing rule, deleting an existing rule, or making a completely new rule. You may only make 1 proposal on your turn. The player(s) whose turn it is can be found in #turns.
- When a proposal is made in #proposals, a @Moderator will add it to #voting. If the rule has more votes for than against after 48 hours of it being in #voting, it will be added to #official-rules (or other appropriate thing will happen) and it will have an immediate effect from then on.
- The first player to reach 1000 points, wins the game.

History
The game began at the end of November as a basic turn-based Nomic. The first proposal (written by Slimey) was submitted on 4 December 2020 with a few more proposals coming in during the following days. Several interesting mechanics were created during this period, including TripleVotes, a marketplace of items, and the incentivization of proposing and voting through coin payouts. This phase of the game was very casual and more about having fun rather than creating a future-proof Nomic.
At the beginning of January, the Constitution, a very long rule which would govern the most important parts of a Nomic game and therefore had a higher standard for amendment. The Constitution interestingly made obsolete all the initial rules. From this point, even more disparate elements were introduced, including a system of vassalage and lordship as well as a Merchant class who gained extra coins from normal activity. Gamestate tracking was also relegated to a Github repository.
The game got more and more complicated as time went on but there was still very little thematic consistency. Eventually Cuddlebeam found a scam within the economic system and used it to boost Klink to victory.
At the end of March, a proposal was created that would modify the Constitution, instituting a new round. It was passed and the round ended officially not too long after.
